Good Morning my sugar dumplings,
I hope you're all having a beautiful day, enjoying the snow or the sunshine wherever you are. I'm spending the weekend with my parents and last night a huge blanket of snow was thrown over us, we watched it falling for hours. I was supposed to be travelling to my dear friend Monsta to spend her birthday with her but unfortunately we weren't able to make it there and had to turn back because of the snow. I'm sad that I don't get to be with her on her birthday, but hoping that we'll be able to arrange a weekend together in the near future.
On the upside it means I get to hang out with my mum and dad and my cats. Since I'm not able to have cats in my own house right now I don't get to see them very often, getting to cuddle and snuggle with them for a few days is always a treat and they seem to agree! Drusilla has been following me around since I arrived and I think she might be rather pleased that I had to come back and spend a few more days with her.
I've also been working on a new freeform wrap, the first one I've made entirely using 100% wool. I've been gathering up beautiful variagated wools for a few months and decided to finally combine them together to make a rainbow wrap. I've had so much time to dedicate to it over the past few days that I've already finished it, and later my mama will be modelling it for me. I think it may be my favourite freeform piece to date, it is so bright and soft and filled with love and happiness.
A beautiful old bear sitting on my parents bookshelf. I don't know if she used to be mine or belonged to my mum, perhaps both. I think she might be wearing one of my dresses from when I was a baby.
My beautiful Drusilla, named after the vampire from Buffy! It turned out to be the perfect name for her, for she is vampish and beautiful and very strange. She has always loved me, and I her, but hardly anybody else can go near her without being bitten. People always look at me in awe when I pick her up and carry her around in my arms, they say she won't let anybody else hold her like that, she must save all her cuddles for me because whenever I'm home she follows me around like a shadow.
Photos of Brimham Rocks taken by my dad, I had to include them because they're so beautiful and majestic. I haven't been climbing in them for many years now, but I think I definitely shall in the summer.
My mum and her dog Kami in the rocks.
Dad looking as though he has just climbed out of a knitting magazine! Doesn't it look like he's modelling that jumper?

That wrap is beautiful, I can't believe you made it yourself! I also love the photographs of the rocks, the lighting is so pretty
