Good Morning my dears,
I have returned from Wales! I hope you all have had a lovely beginning of July, to all of you who are suffering from heat waves and droughts at the moment I pray that some of the rain we're experiencing here in the UK finds it's way to you and heals your lands.
I'll be splitting our trip up into a couple of different posts, these are from the first two days in which we went to a Sea Zoo and an animal sactuary.
I believe this is a form of wild Orchid, they have the same flower shape. They were absolutely tiny and grew profusely behind our camping ground.
I've seen a lot of amazing roots like this lately, they are so beautiful and intricate.
I love the inside pattern of foxgloves and the shape of the flowers.
I'm not sure what plant these flowers belong to, I'd really love to know if anybody can identify them! I must say that you are all amazing at teaching me about flowers, I learn so much from you all!
Sea Anemones and a tuber of some sort. I loved this tank a lot.
A Sea snail with a friendly anemone hitching a ride!
They looked so eerie and haunting in the dark like that. I find it fascinating how many different things exist on this earth.
A really cute Cuttlefish! He looks like he might be the cousin of Cthulu.
We saw some really beautiful Sea Horses. I never knew they clung onto the leaves like that with their tails.
A bottle that was found in a ship wreck. There was a lot of ship wrecked pottery, it was fascinating to see.
Cocoons from the Butterfly Room in the animal sanctuary. I love cocoons so much.
Flowers growing in the butterfly room.
A beautiful green butterfly. I was very fortunate to be able to get photographs of a lot of them sitting still, though there were plenty fluttering around too.
I can't get over this puppet, he is absolutely breath taking. The best Green Man I have ever seen, so beautiful.
His face is brilliant, he looked so contented.
I see you Dr Shu! I can never look at finches quite the same way after playing Hatoful Boyfriend.
This little guy was so cute, he was strutting around by our feet and came up really close to me so I was able to take close up photos.
This really makes me laugh because it looks like he has a green screen behind him and I can just imagine him in some sort of cheesy romantic film, or maybe a space adventure. That face!
We saw many, many rabbits! This one was hanging out with the pigs.
Snuffling and snorting around. The pigs were called Bert and Ernie but I'm not sure who this is!
