Secret Swamps & Flowery Towers

Good Afternoon my dears,
First of all, thank you so much for all your kindness about my hair! I feel a lot less worried about sharing my spiky little head with the world now, and it is spiky indeed.
Secondly, I'm having so much fun with Instagram I think I might be getting a little hooked on it! I'll be honest and say I was never really an Apple convert and was always firmly planted on the PC side of the Apple vs. PC argument, shunned the Ipod for other less hyped MP3 players... but after getting my phone switched over to an iphone and getting to play with it I am starting to really warm to it. I love being able to take pictures as I go about my day but most phone cameras leave a lot to be desired, I was surprised how good the pictures are on the iphone compared. I don't see myself on a Mac any time soon, but I'm pretty happy to have an Apple phone in my pocket right now.
Here are some of the pictures from my day of wandering in the sun after work.
Hello work Pleco! This little guy apparently kept scaring our masseuse who didn't realise plecs don't move very much and kept thinking he was dead. It takes some work to be that sneaky without doing much, little monster.
Discovering secret swampy places on the way home, I've started taking a new route since moving which is quick and fun.
Daffodils in one of our pots outside, I love how they form a little ring like that.
Beautiful blue hyacinth flowers, like little sweet smelling stars.
The garden at work, I'm so looking forward to sitting out in it in the Summer.
Crocuses in profusion are growing right now.
Catkins swaying to and fro in the breeze.
Bluebells emerging from the earth, I've never been able to catch this stage of flowering before.
The pond at work has very recently been filled in.
More statues in the gardens that line the road. The houses near my work are beautiful.
A holly tree! I never realised a holly plant could grow into a full on tree before, I had to stop and look at it to see if it was just climbing around another tree but it wasn't!
Slightly obsessed with my giant fairy pinecone? Me? Never!
Hello, here is my face today! My hair is so tufty and silly on the sides and forms a quiff in the front.
Little cacti on my altar after I watered all my plants this morning with my new spritzer (which I find endlessly exciting, let it be known that it is incredibly easy to amuse me!)
and could I leave you without this picture of Steven giving me a very nice rendition of the Game of Thrones theme tune? The answer to that is clearly demonstrated above.
