In a dreamy state of mind

Good Evening my dears
I hope you all are feeling happy and bright as little stars this evening (or day for some of you!). I apologise for the somewhat sporadic posting these days, sometimes I have ideas for posts multiple times a day and sometimes, like recently, I can look and think 'I can't believe it's been a week!'  I must admit I've been taking it slow for the past couple of weeks, recouperating after my bug and relaxing after working hard at the clinic. It's been good to just allow my mind to switch off a little bit, sometimes I like to have a little no thinking time to get myself back on track.
I've been drawing and painting quite a bit this week and it feels great! I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that my urge to draw and create often comes in waves, I'll have times of doing nothing much at all and then times when I can fill pages and pages of my sketchbook, use up half of my wool and prick myself silly with needles when sewing.
I've been a bit of a slug too though (thats what my mum always affectionately calls lazing about ^^) and have watched all three series of The Guild after my friend showed me the new music video Game On. I have to admit that until then I had only seen their other music video but it spurred me on to finally watch the episodes and I'm so glad I did.
Another friend very generously and kindly gave me lots of new gothic clothing too! I'm so excited about it, I've always liked the gothic style but found the clothing to be very expensive. My dad will be really happy too, he is always trying to convince me to go back to goth. Weather permitted I hope to show some of these new aquisitions off soon.

This post is really just an amalgamation of things, some new dooblies, a few pictures on my webcam and some inspirations. I hope you enjoy ^^

The above two girls are part of a new set that I'm doing based around wishes. Right now they're 'The Wishmakers', I'm hoping a story will spring up around them.

Steven said she needs colouring and I think hes right, I think she would make a good print out!

Just a silly little idea ^^; I never really put words with my dooblies so this is kind of new to me! I just love the idea of the moon and the sun making friends.

I love love love fishtail plaits! I don't think I will ever get sick of them ♥

I am in love with this picture... everything about it is just beautiful. I love the soft colouring, the delicacy, the little bird!

I love taking naps, its one of the little pleasures in life. There is something so refreshing and enjoyable about taking an hour or two out of the day to simply lie in bed, have a little sleep, chat or get lost in thoughts. I think I'm perpetually dreamy at the moment.

Sweet Summer

Good Afternoon my dears ^^
I appear to have come down with a bug this past week but today I've felt quite a bit better so I decided to go outside and take some pictures. I took pictures of my Tarot deck since I don't think I've ever shown it here, also the crochet I've been working on and some new books.

Steven and I visited the Oxfam bookshop for the first time in months the other day. I found two old books, a copy of The Little Prince by Antoine De Saint-Exupéry (what a beautiful name don't you think?) and Ballet Shoes by Noel Streatfeild.

My tomato plants have started to grow fruit! I'm so excited to see the little baby tomatoes every time I go outside. I love seeing all my plants growing now, especially the ones that we rescued and were in bad condition in the beginning or were grown completely from seed. I remember when my tomatoes were so tiny and all lived on my kitchen windowsill and now they're all outside and pretty big.

Tomato flowers are so cute too, I love that they're yellow like this ^^

Blackberries ^_^ I'm proud of these plants too, when we bought them they were on clearence because they looked dead but we managed to cultivate them and now they're really healthy and grow a lot.

We have a few plants on the garden chairs which I like, theres something about it that makes me smile ^^
Sunflowers!

More baby tomatoes

I knitted this coinpurse and I'm so happy about it ^_^ it's the first thing I've made with crochet and I didn't use any patterns for it.

I keep quite a variety of things in my tarot box, some of them I'm not quite sure why! It's always useful to have a pencil sharpener and a tape though. There is also some dried Mint and some Apple and Rose oil.
My dad bought me my tarot deck when I was 13 years old, I use the Tarot of a Moon Garden deck and have been using it for 8 years now.

I've had this jumper for a long time but it's something I used to struggle to coordinate with anything but I think it goes rather well with this skirt ^^
Jumper: Ebay
Shirt under: Paul & Joe
Skirt: Primark
Shoes: Primark

I hope you all are well my sweetlings!
